Unique Skills:

As a key member of the People Partner team supporting Savannah-based Customer Support, this role will provide direct on-site HR support for 700+ Material Support employees and their leadership teams. The role will include a significant focus on employee relations/investigations, manager coaching, and culture building. An ideal candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to thrive in this fast paced, high volume, employee-facing HR role.


Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years related HR experience. Other PHR preferred.

Position Purpose:

Executes the effective end-to-end delivery of the HR function for given customer/business group through flexible and pragmatic solutions in support of the business plan. This role supports the execution of a strategic workforce plan in their respective area of the business. This role is responsible for assessing the needs of the business and collaborating with subject matter experts within our Centers of Excellence to deliver effective solutions. This position will support part(s) of functional groups that are comparatively moderate in size or complexity.
Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Seeks to understand and translate the various HR disciplines in order to communicate effective solutions to specific customer situations.
  2. Has working knowledge of the strategic workforce plan and how it applies to assigned customer group, as well as annual supporting objectives.
  3. Has working knowledge of the assigned customer annual plans and objectives.
  4. Owns the execution of initiatives to deliver on the HR annual plan for assigned customer group.
  5. Communicates key dashboards and metrics to customers, as well as designs dashboards to meet specific customer needs.
  6. Provides feedback to HR leadership on program and policy effectiveness.
  7. Operates collaboratively with HR peer group to deliver "One HR" to our customers.
  8. Owns employee engagement action plan development for respective areas in conjunction with customers.
  9. Owns the annual performance cycle execution for assigned customer areas.
  10. Responds effectively and efficiently to employee relations matters in given customer areas.
  11. Coaches management on how to best address broad and individualized employee development.
  12. Collaborates with COEs for support in aligned initiatives and interventions.
  13. Collaborates with the business on defining positions, internal/external candidate selection and employee movement.
  14. Facilitates talent management with select employee segments as outlined in the annual plan.
  15. Earns influence for the HR function, as well as personally, across the organization through integrity as an operator, accuracy through analytics and insights and collaboration in driving and owning "One HR" function.
  16. Acts as the "change agent" for customer initiatives.

Additional Functions:
  1. Develops and maintains effective working relationships across the organization. .
  2. Travel approximately 0-50%. .
  3. Site Management. .

  2. Demonstrated experience of effectively managing multiple priorities.
  3. Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees and managers.
  4. Record of good judgement, collaboration and critical thinking skills.
  5. Examples of collaboration across other HR disciplines.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with learning and leveraging new technology.
  7. Experience identifying potential legal risks and concerns related to employment laws.
  8. Demonstrates curiosity and interest in understanding the underlying drivers of a given situation.
  9. Ability to present information, finding, analysis and solutions. Engages through a highly collaborative approach, clear communication and aligned solutions.
